In 2026, the Offender Database reported that Lee Shocklidge, then 40, of Kettering, Northamptonshire, was awaiting sentencing at Norwich Crown Court for a “vile” and “prolonged” series of 25 child sex offences. Shocklidge, now a four-time convicted paedophile, targeted at least 11 different victims in the Norwich, Norfolk, area between 2021 and 2024. The investigation by Norfolk Constabulary revealed a horrendous pattern of grooming and exploitation that spanned three years before his eventual arrest and guilty pleas in October 2025.
The court heard horrific details of the charges, which include three counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and eight counts related to forcing children to watch sexual acts. Lee Shocklidge also admitted to making and distributing a vile stash of 1,650 indecent images of children, including 58 Category A images—the most serious and violent classification. The prosecution emphasised that Shocklidge’s predatory behaviour across Norfolk caused significant and lasting trauma to multiple children who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
Shocklidge has been remanded in custody since his initial appearances, with his sentencing hearing rescheduled from December 18 to January 27, 2026. The serious nature of his 25 admitted offences, combined with his status as a repeat sexual offender, has led to calls for a substantial custodial sentence. Detectives from Norfolk Constabulary noted that the scale of his digital distribution of sickening child abuse material highlights the dangerous and “vicious” role he played in the online exploitation market.
As a result of his convictions for these vile sexual crimes, Lee Shocklidge will be ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life upon his sentencing in Norwich, Norfolk. He is expected to be made subject to a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). He will be managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by both Norfolk Constabulary and Northamptonshire Police. Any further predatory behaviour or breach of his strict registration requirements in Kettering, Norwich, or elsewhere will result in his immediate arrest and return to prison.
