The Offender Database reported that Shawn Chance, the Padgate Paedophile Child Molester, who manipulated a young teenage girl, has avoided incarceration after reappearing in court.
In 2015, Shawn Chance of Padgate was sentenced to two years in prison for sexually assaulting a teenager.
In February of the previous year, the then 27-year-old was discovered to have violated a notification order mandated after his sentence by failing to register an alias he was utilising with the police.
However, he did not attend the unpaid work sessions assigned by magistrates for this violation.
Shawn Chance, of Biggin Court, Warrington, acknowledged noncompliance with a community order before Warrington Magistrates Court.
He received a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was mandated to undergo an eight-week electronically monitored curfew from 6 PM to 6 AM.
In an interview with the Warrington Guardian following the paedophile’s sentencing at Chester Crown Court four-and-a-half years prior, the victim’s mother stated that her daughter’s ‘innocence had been taken away.’
Shawn Chance, back then a resident of Poplars Avenue in Orford, Cheshire, previously confessed to offences such as engaging with a minor following grooming, enticing a youngster to participate in sexual activities, and possessing indecent photos.
