In 2008, the Offender Database reported that Nathan Neish, the Swindon Paedophile Child Rapist, a sex offender with a ‘deviant sexual hunger’, was sentenced to nearly five years in prison after being found guilty of molesting and raping two minors.

Nathan Neish indecently raped a nine-year-old girl and subsequently abused another girl aged 14.

The then 27-year-old, previously convicted of groping another girl, is currently incarcerated and will be subject to a four-year extended licence upon release.

Nathan Neish was approximately 15 years old when he first perpetrated an indecent attack on the nine-year-old in 1996.

In 2005, the father of three directed his focus on a 14-year-old girl, molesting her before ultimately engaging in sexual intercourse with her.

The judge at Swindon Crown Court was informed that the victim, due to the abuse, had commenced self-harming, experienced bulimia, and felt ‘worthless and disgusting.’

Nathan Neish entered a plea of not guilty to all charges but was subsequently convicted after a jury trial last month.

The court was informed that Nathan Neish was acquainted with the parents of his victims and exploited his position of trust to perpetrate abuse on the girls.

Rosie Collins, representing the prosecution, said the court that in March 1999, the defendant, then a juvenile, was found guilty of three charges of indecent assault on a female after a trial in the youth court.

She stated that although the incident involving the nine-year-old girl occurred prior to the previous conviction, it had only recently become known.

Nathan Neish, residing at Westcott Place, Swindon, Wiltshire, entered a plea of not guilty to three charges of sexual activity with a minor and one charge of indecent assault, yet was found guilty by a jury.

Francis Chamberlain, representing the defendant, stated that his client continues to refute the claims and has also entered a plea of not guilty to the prior charges.

He stated that, aside from the conviction for engaging in sexual relations with the child, the other charges were not the gravest instances of sexual abuse, and no threats were made towards the females.

Nathan Neish was described as a compassionate individual and the father of three children with whom he maintains contact with social services.

Considering the entirety of the offending history, including the 1999 incidents, the judge deemed him dangerous under the new regulations and imposed the extended licence.

He was handed a jail sentence of four years and eight months, accompanied by a four-year extended licence.

Nathan Neish is required to register as a lifelong sex offender, is prohibited from employment involving minors, and must adhere to the stipulations of a sexual crimes prevention order that limits his freedom.
