In 2017, the Offender Database reported that Damian Cochrane, the Glasgow Wendy House Paedophile, convicted of raping a young girl and sexually assaulting two additional youngsters, was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Damian Cochrane, then aged 51, committed the offences at multiple locations in Glasgow from 1981 to 1990.
His sexual assault victim stated that he would prey on her while she played in a playhouse.
Damian Cochrane was convicted of raping her on one occasion between 1986 and 1990, when she was aged nine to 13, and was also found guilty of sexually abusing her from 1981, when he was 14.
At the High Court in Glasgow, he was convicted of sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy.
A further allegation of sexually abusing a six-year-old girl in 1996 was deemed unsubstantiated.
Defence attorney Lorraine Glancy stated, “Mr Damian Cochrane maintains his denial of these offences.”
Lady Stacey enrolled Damian Cochrane on the sex offenders’ registry.
Damian Cochrane, a resident of Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire, was apprehended following his rape victim’s report to the police in 2013.
Subsequently, additional individuals emerged alleging that he had perpetrated abuse against them.
NOW he is out and back living in Barton-upon-Humber, staying with a family member and on the prowl for a child to rape locally.
