James Oak, the Southampton Paedophile and Sex Offender, a 37-year-old man from Southampton, has been sentenced to five years and seven months in prison for transmitting highly explicit texts to a minor.

James Oak, residing on Winchester Road, pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Southampton Crown Court on Friday, November 7.

The crimes for which he is incarcerated occurred in October of this year, during which James Oak transmitted a sequence of sexually explicit messages to the victim, soliciting her to submit pornographic photographs, see him in person, and engage in sexual actions.

The victim was merely 12 years old at the time of the occurrence.

James Oak was sentenced to five years and seven months for inducing a child under 13 to participate in sexual conduct, along with an additional 12-month sentence for sexual communication with a child, to be served concurrently.

In addition to his incarceration, James Oak is now subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, a restraining order, and a notification requirement to register with the police, pursuant to the Sexual Offences Act (2003). He will be permanently included on the sex offenders registry.
