In 2022, Jonathan Roberts, the Tameside Paedophile, was incarcerated for more than three and a half years for a string of child sexual crimes.
Jonathan Roberts (25/06/1992), currently homeless, was sentenced at Minshull Street Crown Court on 15 July 2022 for one crime of attempted rape of a child, two counts of engaging in sexual conduct in the presence of a child, one count of sexual assault of a child, and one count of possession of obscene photographs.
The court was informed that the offences transpired during Jonathan Roberts’ visit to the residence of the child victim.
Following a brief interval, law enforcement received a report regarding concerns about Jonathan Roberts’ fixation on a two-year-old child, prompting a thorough investigation that culminated in Roberts’ arrest in November 2021.
A later examination of his mobile phone revealed an indecent image of a child.
