In 2022, Callum Harpur, a Bedford Paedophile and child sex offender, apprehended for producing obscene photos of minors while serving a suspended sentence for the identical act, was sentenced to three years in prison.

Callum Harpur, 20, possessed almost 16,000 indecent photos of minors and 14 electronic devices when Bedfordshire Police conducted a warrant at his residence in July.

At the time, Callum Harpur was serving a suspended prison sentence but had only revealed two of these electronic devices to his offender manager.

Investigation of his devices revealed that Callum Harpur had been disseminating indecent photographs of children through the Telegram app, in addition to producing indecent images of children and creating numerous more.

Following a ‘no comment’ interview with officers from Bedfordshire Police’s Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team (ICAIT), Callum Harpur was charged and detained in custody.

On 24 October, he admitted guilt to four charges of producing obscene photos of children, in addition to the creation and dissemination of such images. He additionally admitted guilt for violating his sexual harm prevention order.

Callum Harpur, residing on Western Street, Bedford, received a three-year prison sentence and will be permanently registered as a sex offender.
