Christopher Ackroyd, the Wakefield Paedophile, has been incarcerated for many sexual offences against a minor. Christopher Ackroyd was convicted of the offences during a trial in August.

Christopher Ackroyd was found guilty of one count of attempted rape, four counts of inducing a child under 13 to participate in sexual behaviour, one count of sexual assault against a child under 13, and one count of compelling a child to observe a sexual act.

Christopher Ackroyd was additionally convicted of witness intimidation.

The incidents were claimed to have occurred earlier in this decade.

Today (16/10), Christopher Ackroyd, 32, of Wasdale Road, Wakefield, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court to 10 years in prison, comprising nine years for sexual offences and an additional year for witness intimidation to be served concurrently.

Christopher Ackroyd was issued a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order and required to register on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
