Darren Rogers, a 26-year-old from Alltwen, uploaded one Category A indecent film of a child on his Snapchat account in January 2024.
Officers apprehended Rogers at his residence after discovering other child sexual assault content on his devices.
Darren Rogers admitted guilt to four charges of possessing indecent photographs of a child, one charge of possessing a forbidden image of a child, and one charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image depicting sexual conduct with an animal.
Darren Rogers pleaded guilty to seven charges of engaging in sexual communication with a minor, as well as one count each of distributing an indecent photograph of a minor and inciting a minor to view an image of sexual activity.
Darren Rogers has received a sentence of two years and two months of incarceration.
