A serial Paedophile rapist from Scotland, Brian Thomson, who assaulted a pregnant woman and a toddler, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Brian Thomson, 67, was convicted of the egregious offences during a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh last month. The creature was adjudicated at the same tribunal on September 16.
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) presented evidence indicating that Brian Thomson, 67, commenced his sexual offences at the age of 12 in 1970.
Over the subsequent seven years, Brian Thomson consistently abused and raped a young girl, causing her injuries at several sites in the East Lothian region.
Brian Thomson was additionally convicted of sexually assaulting a woman between the 1980s and 1990s, which included raping her at a hospital in Edinburgh.
Brian Thomson was found guilty of three offences.
