A Birkenhead Paedophile, John Ahern, who exploited and mistreated two boys during the 1980s and 1990s has been sentenced to 19 years in prison after an investigation by GMP.
John Ahern (12/04/1952), residing on St Anne Street, Birkenhead, commenced his offences against the duo when they were just children.
Last week, on Friday, September 5, in Manchester Crown Square, John Ahern was sentenced after being convicted of eight charges of indecent assault and one count of buggery.
The court was informed that the offences occurred throughout two distinct periods: 1985-1991 and 1995-1997.
