Paedophile David Kuca, 80, of New Road, Didcot, was convicted by a jury on three counts of indecent assault against a girl, two counts of sexual assault of a child, one count of causing a child to observe a sexual act, and two counts of producing indecent images of children.
In May, a 16-day trial at Oxford Crown Court revealed that David Kuca had repeatedly sexually molested two young children in South Oxfordshire between 1995 and 2001, and again from 2013 to 2017. David Kuca was apprehended on 5 December 2022, and indecent photographs of minors were discovered on laptops that were confiscated from him. On 5 March 2024, he was indicted for many child sexual offences subsequent to an extensive police inquiry.
On 21 May of this year, the jury convicted him, and he reappeared in court on Tuesday (2/9), when he received a sentence of 12 years in jail, consisting of 11 years in custody with an additional year on licence.
David Kuca has been issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a duration of 15 years, along with an indefinite restraining order concerning the two victims.
