This is 59-year-old Sabbir Patel, otherwise known as the Preston Paedophile Child Molester. On 21 September 2024, a concerned citizen contacted us after observing Patel in Ribbleton Park, Preston, accompanied by the 14-year-old English victim and another child.
This was a violation of a child abduction notice issued to him the preceding April, resulting in his arrest, charge, and subsequent remand into custody.
While incarcerated pending his court appearance, the courageous victim composed a letter outlining the sexual assaults perpetrated against her by Sabbir Patel.
This involved an event in Moor Park, Preston, where he provoked the youngster to participate in sexual behaviour, as well as another occasion when he awakened her and attempted to involve her in sexual activities.
Sabbir Patel expressed his affection for her and defined her physique as alluring.
The English child victim endured numerous sexual assaults and rapes by Sabbir Patel over a span of 12 months. Earlier this year, Sabbir Patel, residing on Ripon Terrace in Preston, appeared in the dock at Preston Crown Court, where he pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual assault and engaging in sexual conduct with a minor.
Last week, he reappeared in the same court, where he was sentenced to six years of imprisonment, subjected to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and mandated to register on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
