A Pakistani asylum seeker, Kamran Khan, has been arraigned in court on charges of repeatedly raping an eight-year-old English child.
Kamran Khan, 43, is accused of raping the little girl twice between September 2024 and July 2025 and thereafter compelling her to observe a third party engage in sexual conduct.
It is said that he compelled the eight-year-old to induce his ejaculation and allegedly placed his hand and penis on her genitals.
Kamran Khan, residing on Streatham High Road in south London, refuted the two charges of rape at Inner London Crown Court, purportedly occurring in the district of Lambeth.
He additionally refuted two charges of inducing a kid to observe a sexual act, four charges of sexually abusing a minor, and two charges of compelling a child under thirteen to participate in sexual behaviour.
Kamran Khan, used an Urdu interpreter, donned a prison-issued grey t-shirt in the dock.
He rested his palm on his head and caressed his beard while articulating his pleas.
Kamran Khan was remanded in custody ahead of his seven-day trial on January 5 next year.
Judge Benedict Kelleher told Kamran Khan: ‘Failing to attend court when required whether from custody or from bail may be a separate offence.
‘If a defendant fails to attend their trial then the trial may proceed in his absence in which case his lawyer may withdraw from the case leaving him unrepresented and the judge may inform the jury of the reason for his absence.’
