A previously convicted sex offender, the Seacroft Paedophile Rapist, Edgar Casandra, who brutally assaulted and raped a youngster during a harrowing incident has been classified as a threat to society.
Edgar Casandra, a 23-year-old convicted sex offender, received a term of 11 years in jail for the assault and rape of a teenager in November 2023.
Already subject to a useless Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for previous sexual offences involving a child, Edgar Casandra brutally assaulted the girl following a dispute, employing strangulation, many punches, and slaps before raping her, ignoring her please for him to stop.
The extended attack occurred at his residence at Boggart Hill Drive, Seacroft.
Leeds Crown Court characterised his conduct as “manipulative and predatory,” emphasising his contempt for court-imposed penalties.
Edgar Casandra was sentenced to eight years and one month in prison, received a three-year extended licence, was subjected to a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and was registered as a sex offender for life.
