James Tincknell was handed a community order, having been caught with approximately 300 photographs of children being raped, tortured and abused. Victims were as young as one year old.
James Tincknell, aged 17, started viewing inappropriate images of minors in March 2020 at the age of just 14. He spent the next two-and-a-half years looking at pictures and videos until his arrest in October 2022.
Now 19, James Tincknell was warned his conduct was “effectively encouraging” the sexual abuse of youngsters as he was given a 15-month community order Monday at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
The court listened to reports of police learning about a Discord account connected to the defendant’s email address in March 2022.
