The Paedophile Trevor Leach from Northwich has been convicted of grooming and sexually assaulting a young child in the 1990s.
Trevor Leach was unanimously convicted of 19 counts of gross indecency during a trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
A 65-year-old resident of Verdin Avenue, Northwich, has been remanded in custody and is scheduled for sentencing on Friday, August 8.
The court was informed that Trevor Leach groomed and sexually assaulted the victim from 1992 to 1996, commencing when the kid was at 12 years old.
The couple first encountered each other while Trevor Leach was employed at the former Elf garage, situated across from Hartford High School.
The victim remembered how Trevor Leach would frequently transport him in his vehicle to his residence, where he would perpetrate sexual abuse.
The victim first opted not to notify the authorities about the assaults. In 2022, they had an incidental meeting with Trevor Leach that evoked numerous memories and prompted them to disclose the charges.
