A despicable child rapist and Bewsey Paedophile, Odday El-Saddi, whose victim was at nine years old, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison.
Odday El-Saddi appeared at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday, Monday, after being convicted of 15 counts of child sexual assault, including child rape, following a trial.
During the prosecution, Paul Becker stated that Odday El-Saddi’s egregious offences, for which he has exhibited ‘no remorse,’ occurred over a four-year span.
Mr. Becker presented a victim impact statement to the court, disclosing the significant mental health struggles experienced by the kid.
They expressed a loss of confidence, exposure to a life characterised by fear and doubt, and an inability to comprehend the reasons for these occurrences.
The court was informed that Odday El-SaddiEl-Saddi, residing in Regency Square, Bewsey, has prior convictions; yet, they are unrelated to the current case.
In his defence, Simon Christie stated: “The past few weeks have been extraordinarily challenging for Mr. Odday El-Saddi. He has found it arduous to navigate life within the prison system.”
In conclusion, Judge Anthony Watson sentenced Odday El-Saddi to 17 years of imprisonment, accompanied by an additional one-year extended licence period.
He is also under an indefinite restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim and an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
