The Tipton Paedophile, David Graham, took photographs of children from Facebook and thereafter disseminated them online, feigning that he had molested them.

Authorities stated that David Graham was attempting to “enhance his credibility as a child sex offender” on discussion boards.

Upon the police’ arrival at his residence on Firstfield Road, Tipton, they discovered numerous concealed obscene photos of minors that David Graham had attempted to obscure.

David Graham was sentenced to two and a half years in prison at Wolverhampton Crown Court for many sexual crimes.

West Midlands Police stated that the 34-year-old did not exploit the children whose photographs he disseminated online, nor any other youngsters, and assistance was provided to the families whose images were compromised.

Images were found on devices concealed in the trunk of David Graham’s car and within a sock.

“We should be mindful that behind every child abuse image there is a child who has suffered at the hands of an abuser,” Det Insp Theresa Grainger said.

“Accessing these images is not in any way innocent, it simply creates a continuous demand that results in more and more children being subjected to this horrific abuse.”

David Graham admitted two counts of possessing extreme child pornography but denied further offences.

However on 28 September a jury found David Graham guilty of also distributing indecent images, attempting to publish an obscene article and three counts of making indecent images.

As well as his prison sentence, David Graham was also placed on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years and made subject to a sexual harm prevention order following the hearing on 27 October.
