Mathew Cowley, the Kensington Paedophile, labelled a “sexual deviant,” solicited a 13-year-old boy online for sex.
He possessed a prior conviction for sexually assaulting a schoolboy he encountered over Skype and was prohibited from interacting with individuals under 16 years of age.
However, this did not dissuade Mathew Cowley, who was conversing with an undercover police officer on August 5 of this year.
Mathew Cowley informed the decoy, “I do not object to novices as long as it remains confidential,” and stated it was “preferable” if the child was a virgin.
The 37-year-old, previously incarcerated for three years in 2016 for child molestation at a cemetery, admitted guilt upon arrest and throughout police interrogation.
Mathew Cowley, residing on Shiel Road in Kensington, confessed to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor and violating his Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
