Wilson Tut, the Sheffield Rapist, has been incarcerated for the rape and strangulation of a woman who courageously reported his offences to law enforcement.

Wilson Tut, 27, of Adlington Crescent, raped and deliberately strangled an 18-year-old woman in Sheffield on 10 October 2024.

Wilson Tut’s victim reported the offence, leading to his arrest on suspicion of rape on 13 October.

During his police interview on the same day, he refuted the allegations.

He maintained his claim of innocence, asserting not guilty to charges of rape and intentional strangulation at Sheffield Crown Court on 17 March.

This necessitated that his victim face a trial, during which she courageously testified against him, presenting evidence of his violent offences.

Her persuasive testimony at trial enabled the jury to discern Wilson Tut’s deceptions, resulting in his conviction for both charges at Sheffield Crown Court on 13 August.

On Wednesday, October 22, Wilson Tut was sentenced to six years of imprisonment and mandated to register with law enforcement pursuant to the Sexual Offences Act.
