In 2019, the Offender Database reported that William Maxwell, a Beattock Paedophile Child Molester, who sexually attacked two young girls 15 years ago, had his sentencing postponed for background evaluations.
At Dumfries Crown Court, William Maxwell, then 57, of Craigielands Park, Beattock, Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, admitted to engaging in indecent conduct towards two girls, both under the age of 12.
The court was informed that the charges encompassed kissing both females, sexual assault, disrobing both girls, and engaging in indecent behaviour towards them.
Waste management employee William Maxwell first entered a plea of not guilty before a jury, compelling the victims to testify against him.
After three days of the trial, he ultimately confessed to the offences.
William Maxwell is scheduled for sentencing on February 13th at Dumfries Sheriff’s Court.
