Vincent Davies, the Connah’s Quay Rapist, a 54-year-old man, has been incarcerated for sexually assaulting a woman while she was asleep.
Vincent Davies, of no permanent residence, confessed to a charge of sexual assault by penetration after the event in Connah’s Quay in August.
While the victim was asleep in bed, Vincent Davies perpetrated a sexual assault on her during the night.
Upon confrontation the subsequent day, he expressed remorse to the victim before absconding.
He was apprehended the next day and subsequently indicted and detained.
On Thursday, 23 November, he was sentenced to three and a half years in prison at Mould Crown Court.
Vincent Davies was subjected to a 10-year restraining order to safeguard the victim and is indefinitely bound by notification requirements as a sex offender.
Vincent Davies was prohibited from engaging in employment involving children or vulnerable individuals.
