A renowned Heywood paedophile, Todros Grynhaus, has been let to reside only meters from a children’s playground in Heywood without the awareness of the probation department, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

The digital maps utilised by the probation agency first did not recognise the existence of the park just across from Todros Grynhaus’s residence.

The Probation Service stated that the determinations regarding a sex offender’s residence are contingent upon the specific dangers that individual presents and are subject to continuous monitoring.

The neighbourhood in which Todros Grynhaus resides is cognisant of his crimes, and some neighbours informed the Manchester Evening News that they no longer permit their children to play in the park, expressing their indignation that he has been permitted to reside in what they characterise as a ‘family estate’.

Todros Grynhaus, a prosperous entrepreneur and father of 10, who had a prominent position in Salford’s close-knit ultra-Orthodox community, was sentenced to almost 13 years in prison in 2015 after a jury convicted him of seven sexual offences against two young girls between 1996 and 2004.

Todros Grynhaus was mandated to register as a sex offender for life and subjected to an extended licence period of four years following his prison sentence of 13 years and two months.

He was released in 2022 but was allegedly reincarcerated due to a violation of his licence.
