Officers investigating a report of sexual assault in Runcorn have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.
At around 3.45 am on Sunday, 28 January 2024, police received reports of an incident in Runcorn Old Town, near the junction of Leiria Way and High Street.
It was reported that an unknown man had sexually assaulted a woman.
The man is described as having dark hair, wearing a dark-coloured jumper, of an average build, and speaking with an Irish accent.
Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident, and as part of their investigation, officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.
