The Offender Database reported that Richard Page, an Ipswich alleged Sex Offender, a teacher charged with transmitting a sexual message to an undercover individual impersonating a young teenager, will face trial.
Richard Page appeared before the Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Richard Page, aged 56, has refuted allegations of seeking to initiate sexual conversations with a minor, pertaining to the timeframe from September 29 to October 8 of 2024.
The charging sheet indicates that Page communicated with the decoy, who was impersonating a 14-year-old girl, in a sexual manner and transmitted an explicit photograph of himself.
Richard Page, of Compair Crescent, Ipswich, Suffolk, has refuted the allegation.
During the hearing, the court was informed that Richard Page is employed as a PE teacher, but was previously employed as a maths teacher at a different school.
Richard Page consented to be tried in the magistrates’ court.
A trial is anticipated to occur on June 17 2025.
