A Hessle Paedophile, Richard Oaten, described as ‘perverted’ and ‘abusive’ has received a 25-year prison term for his offences and will be registered as a sex offender for life after his hearing at Hull Crown Court on Friday, 5 September 2025.
Richard Oaten, 53, of Fletcher Close in Hessle, was convicted of six counts of rape of a girl aged 13 to 15, four counts of rape of a girl under 13, two counts of assault by penetration against a girl, two counts of assault by touching a girl, one count of assault against a girl over 13, and attempted rape of a girl under 13, after a two-week trial at Hull Crown Court commencing on Monday, 21 July 2025.
