A Cleator Moor Rapist, Rhys Eaton, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for fifteen offences, including repeated rapes, sexual assaults, attacks, and attempted rape.
Rhys Eaton, 34 years old, of Orchard Place, Cleator Moor received a sentence today at Preston Crown Court subsequent to a trial in May 2025 and a conviction in the previous year.
The offences occurred between 2011 and 2017 and pertain to two women.
Rhys Eaton was sentenced to 21 years, with the remaining to be spent on licence.
Rhys Eaton was apprehended in January 2023 and refuted all allegations during the questioning; nonetheless, our detectives successfully constructed a case against him after the women reported their accounts to the officers.
