The Offender Database reported that Rapualla Ahmadze, the British Afghan Asylum Seeker and Rapist, was sentenced to nine years in prison for raping a young English teenage girl in a park.

Rapualla Ahmadze, who asserted he was a fugitive from the Taliban, assaulted a 17-year-old at Cooper Park, Elgin, Moray, in August of the previous year.

Rapualla Ahmadze, reportedly 21 years old, rejected the charge of rape, asserting that the sexual encounter was consensual; nonetheless, he had been previously convicted.

Rapualla Ahmadze perpetrated the assault after confronting the girl and uttering “intimidating” statements.

He asserted that he was outside in the early morning hours due to hunger and in search of sustenance.

The judge told Rapualla Ahmadze: “The jury unanimously disbelieved you in relation to your defence of consent.

He said he read a victim impact statement prepared in the case and noted the “shocking, overwhelming impact your violent, brutal abuse has had on your innocent victim”.

He imposed a total sentence of nine years, backdated to August last year. He will be released halfway through his sentence because the Judge did not order a minimum sentence to be served.

Rapualla Ahmadze has been placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely, not for life, meaning he can appeal to come off the register in the future.
