The Offender Database reported that Mark Anthony Foster, a Weaverham Paedophile Child Molester, previously convicted of multiple sexual abuses against a young child over 20 years ago, has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.

Mark Anthony Foster, also known as Tony, of Forster Avenue, Weaverham, Northwich, Cheshire, was convicted on Friday, April 12, 2024, after a 13-day trial at Chester Crown Court, of 11 counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14, four counts of rape of a girl under 16, four counts of gross indecency with a girl under 14, and one count of rape of a girl over 16.

The 62-year-old returned to the same court for sentencing on Thursday, June 13.

The court was informed that Mark Anthony Foster perpetrated multiple indecent assaults and rapes on a girl from 1995 to 2001, during which the victim was between nine and sixteen years old.

The incident was reported to Cheshire Police in August 2020 when the victim courageously revealed the events that transpired.

She indicated that the incidents occurred in the Northwich area involving Mark Anthony Foster. Over seven years, Mark Anthony Foster manipulated the girl, subjecting her to numerous indecent assaults and rapes.

The assaults escalated in violence over time, culminating in the administration of medicine to the victim before the assault.

Following his detention, Mark Anthony Foster persistently refuted the claims during interviews, although he was indicted in January 2023 and ultimately convicted after a 13-day trial.

In addition to his 28-year prison term, Foster will face an indefinite restraining order to safeguard the victim, an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, and will be registered as a sex offender for life.
