The Offender Database reported that Leslie Mangwa, the Coventry Rapist Molester, was sentenced in 2025 for assaulting a woman who was asleep following a night out in January of the previous year.
During the night of the assault, the victim was asleep when she awakened to see Leslie Mangwa perpetrating sexual violence against her.
She shouted, compelling him to exit the room.
Immediately following the assault, the woman disclosed her account to law enforcement.
Due to her courage in reporting the incident, authorities found and apprehended Leslie Mangwa, 33, and charged him with rape.
During the interview, Leslie Mangwa refuted the allegations of rape, stating that the encounter was consensual.
Notwithstanding this, he was convicted at trial on August 4 and sentenced on August 29.
Leslie Mangwa, residing at William Hillman Court, was sentenced to eight years in prison and issued a restraining order coupled with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
