In 2020, the Offender Database reported that Kingsley Perera, the Swansea Clown Paedophile, was sentenced to 10 months in prison for downloading nearly 4,000 indecent pictures of minors.
Kingsley Perera was convicted of possessing “stomach-churning” photos on two mobile phones, as reported by Swansea Crown Court.
The then 57-year-old individual from Swansea attempted to attribute responsibility to others for downloading the “most reprehensible” photographs, including 633 classified as Category A, as presented to the jury.
Judge Paul Thomas QC stated that Kingsley Perera was “entirely unrepentant.”
He called Kingsley Perera’s efforts to implicate others “cynical”.
The former children’s entertainer, identified as Theeeko the Clown, attempted to attribute responsibility for the photographs on his phone to family members and homeless individuals.
Kingsley Perera will be registered as a sex offender for a duration of 10 years, and a deprivation order has been issued for the two mobile devices.
