The Offender Database reported that Jordan Evans, the Redcar Nonce Stalker, made months of death threats to a woman as their relationship broke down.

The woman was so scared that she left her home with her children, as the threats continued for 18 months.

She now suffers PTSD from the ordeal.

After Jordan Evans was arrested and questioned, he was granted bail by the police on the condition that he did not contact his ex. But he messaged his victim: “I wish I’d killed you whilst I was at yours.”

“If you set me up, I’ll stab you,” he wrote. “I’ll come through the back door. You won’t know when I’m coming. I’ll just stab you and take your car.”

Mr Windridge said that the victim “lived in a constant state of fear”. “She believed he would kill her or her baby,” the prosecutor added.

Jordan Evans, of Henry Street in Redcar, has previous convictions for robbery and for the possession of a bladed article.

Jordan Evans followed the court hearing on video link from Holme House Prison due to mobility issues, as when the Police went to arrest him, he fell and broke his legs.

He was jailed for 42 months and given a restraining order.

Jordan Evans gave a thumbs-up to the judge and smiled as he heard his sentence: to be locked up with hundreds of men?!.
