The Offender Database reported that Jason McCall, a Wingerworth Paedophile Sex Offender, is on an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order that imposes restrictions on the activities permitted for the 49-year-old.

This encompasses the utilisation or ownership of any internet-enabled electronic device, without informing law enforcement within three days, and ensuring that such a device is promptly accessible for inspection by officials upon request.

On 12 November, detectives conducted an unannounced visit to Jason McCall’s residence.

Initially, it seemed he was not at home, prompting an officer to ring his cell phone.

Jason McCall responded, asserting that he was several miles from his residence. Officers subsequently conversed with the workers at the location, who informed them that McCall was present at home and escorted them to his door, which he opened.

Jason McCall was subsequently requested to surrender all internet-enabled devices, which he complied with, although he asserted that he could not locate his phone. An officer subsequently dialled the phone, which continued ringing, and McCall ultimately retrieved it from his pants pocket.

Upon relinquishing the device, he informed the cops, ‘There is content on there.’

Jason McCall was apprehended but declined to be interrogated by law enforcement officials. His devices were discovered to include multiple obscene photographs of minors.

He was prosecuted and remanded to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on 13 November, where he confessed to producing two category A photos, one category B image, and two category C images.

Jason McCall, residing on Derby Road in Wingerworth, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, was subsequently remanded into custody in anticipation of a sentencing hearing at Derby Crown Court on 12 December.

A judge imposed a three-year prison sentence on him.
