We are appealing for witnesses and information about an alleged attempted rape carried out by a teenage pupil attending Eastbourne College in 1986.
On an Eastbourne College Ski Trips in 1986 an alleged teenage rapist and pupil at Eastbourne College attempted to rape another pupil, Clifford Burrows (survivor has waived anonymity), whilst sharing a room with him at a ski resort. The alleged rapist pupil of Powell House was sent home the following day for flooding the shower in the shared room.
N.B. UPDATE 2025 – Clifford has been supported by the Eastbourne College Safeguarding Team who have gone above and beyond in helping him in this matter.
