In January 2026, the Offender Database reported that Christopher Beasley, 33, of Cottingley Drive, Beeston, was handed a significant extended sentence at Leeds Crown Court. Beasley was convicted of a series of horrific crimes, including multiple counts of rape and child cruelty, following an investigation that exposed a “living nightmare” for his victims.

The court heard harrowing testimony regarding the impact of Beasley’s predatory and violent behaviour. One victim detailed how the trauma led to a diagnosis of Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), leaving her unable to perform everyday tasks or listen to music without being triggered. She described a life of isolation, stating her confidence was “completely gone” and that she frequently experienced auditory hallucinations of children screaming as a direct result of the abuse Beasley subjected her to.

Following a trial at Leeds Crown Court, a jury found Beasley guilty of six counts of rape, three counts of child cruelty, and one count of controlling and coercive behaviour. The prosecution successfully argued that Beasley utilised systematic manipulation and violence to dominate his victims, creating an environment of fear that persisted for years. The judge remarked on the gravity of the psychological damage inflicted, which the victim described as “so loud” it dominated her existence.

On Thursday, January 1, 2026, Christopher Beasley was sentenced to 24 years in prison. Due to the high risk he poses to the public, the judge also imposed an extended licence period of five years, meaning he will remain under strict supervision by the Probation Service for a total of 29 years. This type of sentence is reserved for offenders deemed “dangerous” under UK sentencing guidelines.

In addition to his prison term, Beasley has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life. He is also subject to a permanent Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which includes stringent conditions to prevent him from contacting his victims or working with children. Upon his eventual release, he will be managed under the highest level of Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) in West Yorkshire.
