In 2024, the Offender Database reported that Carl Wallis, the Swindon Rapist Sex Offender, received a sentence of 10 and a half years in jail for a historical rape offence.

Carl Wallis, 38, of Brookdene, was sentenced today (23/02) at Swindon Crown Court following his conviction at a three-day trial in December 2023.

He will be permanently listed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and subject to a restraining order protecting the victim.

This pertains to a 2016 event in which Carl Wallis exploited his victim while she was unconscious and unresponsive, a fact that was only uncovered six years later on a mobile device.

In a Victim Personal Statement, she said: “The day I found the video and pictures on the mobile phone … I was in total shock. I did not know what to think or feel; I felt completely numb. I could not believe what I had just seen. I felt sick.
