A convicted Greater Manchester Paedophile, Brian Wilkinson, possessing a profound sexual affinity to extremely young children, has been accommodated in close proximity to three nurseries for toddlers and two primary schools.
Brian Wilkinson, 64, was incarcerated in September 2001 for five years for possessing 100,000 obscene images of toddlers, some as young as six months, being raped and sexually exploited by adults.
The perpetrator also targeted local children by surreptitiously recording them in school playgrounds, parks, and public changing facilities.
He thereafter disseminated the unsettling material to other sexual predators globally via online chat rooms.
During the sentence, the judge expressed his determination to incarcerate Brian Wilkinson, asserting that failure to do so would justifiably incite public outrage.
He stated, “It is unequivocally evident that you are a paedophile.” You are drawn to minors of both genders.
It has now come to light that inept officials in a Greater Manchester municipality placed Brian Wilkinson in an assisted living facility near many schools.
Brian Wilkinson’s residence is consistently encircled by numerous children each day.
Directly across the street from his flat in a verdant residential neighbourhood lies a children’s nursery.
Two primary schools are located a short distance from his front door, one of which accommodates children as young as three.
A brief examination of a map reveals that the location is also in close proximity to two additional nurseries in the suburban region.
Brian Wilkinson was observed walking from his residence to a neighbouring convenience store to procure lunch.
He traversed by mothers accompanying children and manoeuvring strollers—parents unaware of the heinous deeds committed by the depraved paedophile.
When a reporter questioned the creature and enquired about his proximity to children, Brian Wilkinson remained unimpressed.
“Leave me alone, I’m cured now, that was in the past, that’s over, I’m a cured man now. It happened ten years ago. I don’t go out anywhere, I just go to the garage, that’s all I ever do.”
When asked if he still likes to film kids in school playgrounds, he replied: “I’ve got no cameras or nothing, I’m not interested in them (children) anymore.”
Brian Wilkinson, a former volunteer youth worker, was snared by cops after he was seen filming youngsters in a park.
Detectives raided his home and discovered he had built up a collection of 100,000 indecent photos and images of young children.
The images showed kids naked or involved in sex acts with male adults.
Brian Wilkinson also filmed kids in changing rooms and school playgrounds over 20 years and swapped pictures with paedophiles based in Texas, Holland and Denmark.
When detectives seized the material from his home in Greater Manchester in September 2001, they said it was the biggest seizure of such material in the UK.
Brian Wilkinson pleaded guilty to 41 specimen counts of possessing, making and distributing indecent photographs of children between August 1998 and September 2001 and was jailed for five years.
Brian Wilkinson was also banned from working with children and placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
