Brendan Thomas Oliver, 36, the Hartlepool Animal Abuser, presently residing in Hartlepool but connected to Middlesbrough and Harrogate, has been accused with the fatal stabbing of a dog.

Brendan Thomas Oliver has been in court following the euthanasia of a severely damaged dog after an alleged incident in Hartlepool.

Brendan Thomas Oliver has been indicted for inflicting unnecessary pain on an animal and on three charges of possession of an offensive weapon.

The event purportedly occurred on Harrow Street in Hartlepool on Saturday, August 23. Cleveland Police said that a dog sustained severe injuries and was subsequently euthanised.

A witness stated in a Facebook post that Brendan Thomas Oliver “inflicted cuts on his own hands and arms with glass and pretended that his dog had attacked him, subsequently stabbing the dog in the head multiple times.” He attempted to inform the cops that the dog did not belong to him.

Brendan Thomas Oliver , residing on Church Street in Hartlepool, refrained from entering pleas to the four allegations during the brief hearing on Bank Holiday Monday. The matter has been referred to the crown court.

He was detained until his subsequent hearing on September 22.
