An arrest warrant has been issued for Adnan Ahmed, a British asylum seeker rapist and inhabitant of the Portland barge, who is accused of sexually abusing a woman on the island.
Adnan Ahmed, 36 years old, residing at the Bibby Stockholm barge in Portland Port, was scheduled to appear at Weymouth Magistrates Court at 10 am today, facing charges of sexual assault..
He is charged with the sexual assault of a woman in Fortuneswell, Portland on August 21, 2024.
He was charged by police on November 2, although the court understands that the Bibby Stockholm barge is now empty of asylum seekers.
A warrant was issued for Ahmed’s arrest after he failed to turn up at court this morning.
