Wayne Daykin was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday at Basildon Crown Court.
A 26-year-old resident of Queens Road, Southend, confessed to five charges concerning events that occurred in South Essex in April 2019.
Wayne Daykin would isolate the youngster and seek to coerce him into revealing himself while enquiring whether he could engage in sexual contact.
The adolescent male would reject Wayne Daykin’s requests, although he persistently reiterated them, demanding the same through messages on Instagram.

The girl was sexually assaulted on two occasions when Wayne Daykin forcibly undressed and exposed her.
On both occasions, the girl promptly redressed herself but was left unsettled by the occurrences.
Wayne Daykin received his sentence at Basildon Crown Court on Friday.
In mitigation, Mike Warren stated that Wayne Daykin expressed remorse for his acts.
He stated that he comprehends the damage he inflicted to these individuals.
Judge Andrew Hurst informed Daykin that these children were at a highly impressionable stage of development. You exploited them sexually; there is no more accurate term for it.
