A former Lowton sex offender doctor, Vijay Gaikwad, has been incarcerated for sexually assaulting patients in Wigan.
On July 25, 2025, Vijay Gaikwad, born October 20, 1980, of St. Catherines Gardens, Lowton, was sentenced to six years in prison at Bolton Crown Court for multiple charges of sexual assault.
The sentencing ensues from a comprehensive investigation by Wigan investigators and the valiant statements of the victims.
Vijay Gaikwad, a former medical practitioner, was convicted of sexually assaulting three patients under his care.
