A Gorran Haven Paedophile teenager, Toby Elliott, addicted to pornography, exploited a vulnerable autistic girl on Snapchat and subsequently raped her at a layby 12 miles from her residence in Cornwall.
Subsequently, Toby Elliott advised her to invest some effort into her appearance should he decide to meet her again.
Toby Elliott established a friendship with the 12-year-old girl on the social media platform and urged her to meet with him.
The child consented, as she was autistic and susceptible, lacking comprehension of the consequences.
During a sentencing hearing at Truro Crown Court on Friday, September 12, it was revealed that on June 23, 18-year-old Toby Elliott communicated with the girl, enquiring if she wished to lose her virginity and whether her parents had installed a tracking application or device on her phone.
Toby Elliott, residing on Trelispen Park Drive in Gorran Haven, subsequently transported her from her locality to a layby near another Cornish town, where he assaulted her sexually before returning her to her hometown.
The victim informed a friend, who subsequently relayed the information to the victim’s mother, leading to the rape being reported to the police.
Toby Elliott was then apprehended and confessed to two charges of raping a minor under the age of 13.
