Titoo Tahir, the London Paedophile child sex offender, who journeyed from London to Strood to exploit a teenage boy, has been incarcerated.
Titoo Tahir of Chamberlayne Road, London, initially spoke with the victim over social media, leading the victim to believe that he was aged between 15 and 17 years.
On 11 September 2021, the 38-year-old encountered his victim at Strood Train Station before proceeding to a derelict warehouse.
Within the premises, Titoo Tahir sexually assaulted the child and threatened to harm his family if the adolescent would not acquiesce to his demands.
Titoo Tahir arranged for the child to see him the subsequent day, during which he compelled the boy to return to the location where he perpetrated additional sexual assaults against him. During the occurrences, Titoo Tahir provided the youngster with cash and instructed him to remain silent.
Several days later, the victim was able to reveal the incident, prompting a call to Kent Police on 16 September.
Investigators initiated an inquiry and connected Titoo Tahir to the crimes. He was already incarcerated within the Metropolitan Police jurisdiction for committing analogous acts.
Subsequent to investigations, which included the acquisition of DNA, mobile phone, and CCTV evidence, Titoo Tahir was indicted on seven sexual crimes, including three counts of soliciting a boy aged 13 to 15 to participate in sexual behaviour.
He acknowledged all seven charges and received his sentence at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, 18 October.
He was incarcerated for six and a half years and mandated to remain on license for an additional four years following his release.
Titoo Tahir was incarcerated on 15 October for analogous acts perpetrated in Bromley, where he received a term of four years and one month. He will serve both sentences simultaneously.
The judge issued an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and he was permanently placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
