A police officer, Tia Johnson-Warne, from the Isle of Wight is facing an impending misconduct tribunal, charged of inappropriately touching two co-workers, assaulting a former girlfriend, and violating bail conditions.
The case of PC Tia Johnson-Warne is scheduled for hearing in Eastleigh on Monday, February 3.
While off duty, PC Tia Johnson-Warne, stationed on the Isle of Wight, is accused of inappropriately touching two male officers during a work social event and sending one of them improper messages.
At a subsequent date, at the residence of an ex-partner, she is accused of assaulting him, resulting in harm, and confronting another female present at the location.
Tia Johnson-Warne is additionally charged with violating bail restrictions established after the purported incident.
A spokeswoman for the force stated the obvious, “This constitutes a violation of the standards of professional conduct regarding discreditable behaviour, which mandates that police officers must act in a manner that does not tarnish the police service or erode public trust, regardless of whether they are on or off duty.”
“These issues, both individually and collectively, constitute gross misconduct, specifically a violation of professional conduct standards, which, if substantiated, would warrant the officer’s dismissal.”
