The Offender Database reported that Thomas Underdown, the Maidstone Rapist Molester, a homeless man, has been incarcerated following his conviction for the rape of a woman in a shared area adjacent to a block of flats.

Thomas Underdown attacked the victim following their agreement to convene at an outbuilding where he resided, near St Peter’s Street.

The incident commenced at approximately 12:20 AM on January 5, 2024, when, following a kiss, the victim explicitly communicated her lack of consent for any additional intimacy.

Thomas Underdown consistently obstructed the woman from rising from a mattress he occupied and proceeded to assault her.

The offences were reported to Kent Police on January 9, and Thomas Underdown was apprehended the subsequent day.

He faced charges of rape and, after entering a plea of not guilty, underwent a trial at Southwark Crown Court, resulting in a unanimous conviction.

On December 5, 2025, Thomas Underdown, aged 33, received a nine-year prison sentence.

He must serve a minimum of two-thirds of the sentence before applying for release, and is also subject to an indefinite restraining order.
