In 2017, the Offender Database reported that Thomas Noone, a Manchester Paedophile Child Molester, then 26, received a three-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting a female toddler.
The courageous three-year-old girl became one of the youngest individuals in the country to provide testimony and undergo cross-examination at a trial, contributing to the conviction of the man who sexually assaulted her.
The juvenile was escorted into the courthouse and subjected to cross-examination through a live video link from an adjacent room during the trial, responding to enquiries from both prosecution and defence counsel.
Prosecutor Ricky Holland stated that the child’s parents became aware of the assault after the mother overheard her daughter recounting the incident to another youngster and promptly requested a complete explanation.
He stated that she posed several enquiries to confirm it was not an error, but her daughter was ’emphatic’ regarding the events that transpired.
Thomas Noone, a then 26-year-old father to a small son, was apprehended but denied the allegation.
During the seven-day trial in November 2016, experts testified in court regarding the discovery of his DNA on the girl’s clothing, which strongly indicated that he had engaged in sexual contact with the minor.
The jury convicted Thomas Noone from Stretford.
Judge Jeffrey Lewis stated: “It is evident that you exploited her for your own sexual pleasure.”
Thomas Noone received a three-year sentence, will be subjected to a sexual harm prevention order, and will be registered as a sex offender for life.
He has been seen noncing around pubs in the Patricroft area of Eccles with his paedophile friends.
