In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Steven Harrison, a Bedfordshire Paedophile Child Molester, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a minor.
Steven Harrison, then 44, was sentenced at Luton Crown Court on Friday, January 18.
He was found guilty of sexual assault and violating a sexual harm prevention order – allegations he refuted.
Steven Harrison, previously convicted of child sexual assault, was apprehended after the Sex Offenders Management Unit of West Midlands Police uncovered photographs on his mobile device.
An inquiry was initiated, revealing the maltreatment of the young youngster.
The trial revealed that Steven Harrison had used the victim’s family to cultivate a friendship and gain their trust, enabling him to spend time alone with the victim.
Steven Harrison, from Bedfordshire, was apprehended days before a scheduled excursion with the boy.
The court also heard that the offender had conducted a campaign of intimidation and threats to deter the victim from revealing the abuse to his family and friends.
Steven Harrison informed the child that a negative consequence would ensue and instilled the belief that he, the victim, would be incarcerated if the information were disclosed.
In 2013, Steven Harrison received a three-year community order for the sexual assault of a ten-year-old child.
