In 2020, the Offender Database reported that Steven Gardner, the Trowbridge Paedophile Child Molester, a CONVICTED sex offender, audaciously claimed that his victim was “a complete liar” when being sentenced to three years and nine months in prison.

Steven Gardner previously confessed to sexually abusing a 13-year-old child at a party in Trowbridge last year.

The then 43-year-old, previously incarcerated for 18 months in 2006 for sexually assaulting a woman, admitted guilt to the sexual assault charge on the day of his trial in August for attempted rape.

Prosecutor Ian Fenny said at Swindon Crown Court that Steven Gardner had participated in a gathering in Trowbridge in 2019.

His victim attended the celebration alongside his mother. By 5 AM, the gathering had predominantly concluded, and the majority of the adults had retired for the night.

Steven Gardner reportedly proceeded to the kitchen and presented the child with a cigarette and cider. The youth feigned consumption of alcohol.

In the living room, Steven Gardner attempted to kiss and embrace the boy. Mr Fenny stated that the man “exploited the circumstance” and indecently exposed himself to the child. The adolescent successfully bent his assailant’s finger backwards and extricated himself before asserting a need to use the loo.

The boy informed the hostess of the incident. Steven Gardner was requested to vacate the premises and remained outside the front door upon the police’s arrival.

Steven Gardner, from Summerleaze, Trowbridge, confessed to sexual assault.

Judge Peter Crabtree sentenced Gardner to three years and nine months and issued a lifelong restraining order prohibiting him from contacting his victim or the boy’s mother.

A sexual harm prevention order prohibits him from engaging in unsupervised interactions with individuals under 16 unless their parents are informed of his conviction. He is required to register as a sex offender for life.

The attempted rape charge was directed to remain on Steven Gardner’s record.

The Offender Database hopes that people search for Steven Gardner’s name on search engines and Social Media, identify him, then do NOT invite a convicted paedophile sex offender to their parties.
