Steven Biggs, a 42-year-old Deal Paedophile, has received an 18-year prison sentence after being convicted of raping two adolescent females.
Steven Biggs, residing on Owen Square in Deal, was convicted of many charges after a three-day trial at Canterbury Crown Court.
The incident occurred in the early hours of 4 August 2020, when Steven Biggs approached two girls, aged 13 and 14, outside a domestic residence on Freemans Way, Deal. The victims approached him in the front garden and requested a smoke.
Upon their invitation into the residence, Steven Biggs compelled one of the girls into a bedroom and sexually assaulted her. When the victim endeavoured to exit with her friend, who had been awaiting outside the premises, Biggs physically compelled both females to return within, where he perpetrated more rapes.
On 3 September 2020, Kent Police received a report that two adolescent females had experienced a brutal rape after one victim’s disclosure of the incident to a family member.
Subsequent to the report, detectives initiated an immediate inquiry into the claims, resulting in Steven Biggs’ arrest on 29 November 2020. He was subsequently charged with ten sexual crimes, including three charges of rape.
Throughout his three-day trial at Canterbury Crown Court, Steven Biggs abstained from testifying and declined to provide evidence. On 24 September 2025, the jury rendered a unanimous decision, resulting in his conviction.
Steven Biggs received an 18-year prison sentence and will be indefinitely subject to sex offender notification requirements, along with restrictions mandated by a 25-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
